Bastille Day! Loads of things happening in France today. There's a tall ships regatta in Brest, the Tour passes near to Pontivy, there are festivals all over... we may go to the beach if the weather is nice. Quelle imagination! There may be fireworks later in Cleden Cap-Sizun. Well Janie went shopping tout seule in the morning and yes we went to the beach at St Tugen in the afternoon. And had quite a nice time. OK it was really good. I constructed a menhir and a stone circle with a burial mound in the centre. The fishing net got washed out to sea and was returned by a nice french boy. Janie swam in the sea. Unfortunately there is no photographic evidence of this. You'll have to take my word for it. As for fireworks, we decided that everyone was too tired to really enjoy them so instead had dinner al fresco and an 'early' bed. Upstairs this morning Emma looked at the spare double bed in the top room and explained that the left hand side was Grandma's and the right hand side was Ganga's...
