Douarnenez (Douar an enez: the land of the island) is a Mecca of maritime heritage. The Musée du Bateau informs about ships and fishing and invites you to a tour into the Bay of Douarnenez. A few kilometers south of Douarnenez/Tréboul you can find a rare big dolmen (follow signs 'Allée couverte') in a small forest. Just outside of Douarnenez to the east there is a nice sandy beach. |
