Left Kerscoulet at 1pm, through Audierne and then left to the northern road to Douarnanez. Then meandered around the coast in the general direction of Sizun. After this rather unpleasant trip we decide to head straight for the beaches up near Roscoff. We end up somewhere out to the west of Roscoff where the beach is a bit too Southend for my liking. Notwithstanding Janie has a swim and Emma and Lucy at last have a swing. Then we head into Roscoff to the Hotel D'Angleterre to find that our reservation has been cancelled because they hadn't received a deposit. Even though we had been in to confirm on the way down. Pah! Anyway, we got a room with two double beds which was fine. We cleaned up and went out on the town, indulged in fast food crepe and ice cream and then, following intense pressure, Lucy and Emma were granted their deepest wish and were allowed to go on the merry-go-round on the quayside. Three times. Eventually they realised that pressing the button makes the car go up. Went to Janie's Bar for a pint before bedtime and then back to the hotel for as much sleep as we could scrape together before the long Saturday ahead.
