Modelling Lancashire & Yorkshire Wagons and Vans

The L&Y operated a number of longer wheelbase wagons and vans, the examples shown were selected as they 'looked different'. The chassis are described in Section A Various types of 12 foot wheelbase chassis produced using the Peco 15 foot wheelbase chassis and long wheelbase brake van chassis. The motor car van was also built with standard L&Y fixed ends as a general service van. I believe examples of all three types shown survived into the early days of British Railways.
